Check-In from Wuhan

No sooner did I publish the previous post, then my counterpart in Wuhan sent me a message to check in. I shared an update on the current situation, but I would feel bad complaining - she's been in the epicenter of the outbreak and under quarantine since February. She said she thinks the quarantine is working in Wuhan, because the number of new cases is decreasing - but there are still 20,000 patients in the hospital, who will need time to recover. They're not expecting to be out of quarantine before April, but our team is still well and they are used to the situation, "and calm down and peaceful now."

I asked her for any quarantine tips, and she recommended having disinfecting supplies on hand, which I do, so hopefully we will be set. They originally could go out for supplies or doctors visits every few days, but later they were fully quarantined and received supplies through their community somehow. Now she says they have apps that allow them to order essentials.
